Before anything get's damaged, take some time to read our article regarding items that are most likely to get damaged during a move! 

We recommend purchasing additional coverage from your moving company or third party insurance company just in case the unexpected happens. To learn more about insurance, click here.

If there your items are damaged during the move, email your mover as soon as possible to start the claim process, and make sure to CC support@unpakt.com. We recommend including pictures of the damages and as many details of the damage occurred as possible to start a proper paper trail. The next step is for the moving company to help submit your claim to their insurance company and their claims adjuster will follow up to settle compensation.

If you've purchased insurance through a third party, you may file a damage claim with them directly and they will work with the movers to finalize your compensation. Learn more about moving insurance here
