Movers should count and record every piece of furniture and box, and then ask you to verify their list. Ideally, your Move Plan already specified this information, so it should just be a confirmation of existing information.

If it turns out that your actual inventory or services needed is different than was noted in your Move Plan, the mover will contact us to update the list. This is called a “move day adjustment”, and we’ll bill you separately according to the additional items and services provided. On the Bill Of Lading, remember to initial these items and services to show your approval.
